As the Leader of Avera eCare’s critical care services, the Critical Care Officer will: • Ensure critical care services are provided in a safe, efficient, and cost effective manner that enhances patient, staff, and physician satisfaction. • Work as a dyad with the eICU Medical Director. • Oversee service delivery and contract requirements for existing eICU customers and ensuring the retention of those customers through superior customer service. • Develop strategic plans, budgets, direct hiring, training, and evaluation of staff as well as oversight quality planning and improvement processes. • Be responsible for enhancing practice and services, ensuring that the department meets all regulatory body requirements, and oversees the development of clinical policies.
Requirements/Preferred experience: • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Health Care field required. • Master's degree in Hospital or Business Administration preferred, minimum of ten (10) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. • Minimum of three (3) years leadership experience. • Minimum of five (5) years ICU experience. • Preference given to candidates who have experience in healthcare management, quality, medical staff support, strategic planning, compliance, and performance improvement.
