We have an opening for a Family Nurse Practitioner 3 or 4 days/ week.
The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) works within a model of team based care with the care team and is responsible for full-scope family practice services including prenatal, and family planning services. Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the FNP will build trust with patients and perform complete examinations of patients and screen all patients for health maintenance needs, including immunizations on an integrated healthcare team providing relationship based model of care. The FNP will document clinical observations, adhere to industry standards and conduct chart reviews to ensure compliance.

Provide full-scope family practice as part of the care team
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!
Occasional to no call schedule (we use a call service)
NHSC loan eligible site.

Current license to practice as a FNP in the State of California.
Current ACLS, BLS or CPR Certification.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
Fluency (the ability to read, write and speak) in English and Spanish is a plus
Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferably eClinicalWorks (eCW).
Knowledge of county programs such as Family PACT, CHDP and Healthy Families
Previous experience in a health center setting is highly desirable.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly rate range starts at $51/hour and may increase depending on experience
Relocation expense negotiable
