Attends the nursing station and performs a variety of general, clerical, and reception duties during an assigned shift. Coordinates the centralized purchasing function of the hospital. Performs a variety of purchasing activities including pricing, ordering, and dispensing medical and other supplies throughout the hospital. Assists in development, implementation and monitoring of purchasing policies and procedures. Serves as liaison for CHRISTUS Dubuis Hospital of Fort Smith purchasing functions. Performs a variety of clerical duties including patient charges, filing, rental equipment inventory, and mail distribution. Provides general clerical support for administrative staff as needed. Involves provision of patient care/service to older adolescent, young adult, adult, and geriatric patients.
