LPN/LVN works under the direction of the nurse manager/charge nurse. He/she will be responsible for practical nursing care to adults and older adults in the Outpatient settings. The LPN/LVN must observe patients and report any changes in a timely manner; complete patient assignments and maintain a safe, dignified environment. Ability to set limits, redirect and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
WORK SCHEDULE: There is (1) Part-Time weekend vacant position located at the Brockton Campus
- 1 Part-Time weekend day position with Rotation/ Part-time, 16hrs per weekend, 32 hrs per pay period, 7:30am-4:00pm with rotation.

In Accordance with the VA Qualification Standards VA Handbook 5005.
A. Citizenship: You must be a citizen of the United States.
B. Education: You must be a graduate of a school of practical or vocational nursing approved by the state and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing(Accrediting Commission NLNAC) at the program was completed by the applicant.
C. Licensure: You must have a full, active, current and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e,Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia.
D. English Language Proficiency: Licensed practical or vocational nurses appointed to direct patient care positions must be proficient in both spoken and written English as required by 38 U.S.C. 7402(d), and 7407 (d).
