The Senior Director for Ambulatory Practice Site Operations is responsible for identification and coordination of existing, expansion, and/or new ambulatory practice site services. This position supports Medical Group and Medical Center Administration to develop and carry out the ambulatory practice site goals, objectives, and performance standards. This position utilizes pertinent management reports, benchmark data and other relevant information to manage the performance of their assigned practice sites. This position is a voting member of the Medical Group Operations Committee and is responsible to provide administrative leadership and support to this committee in the development of operating policies, procedures, and management guidelines that enhance the patient and provider experience and service delivery value.
To carry out these duties and responsibilities, the Senior Director for Ambulatory Practice Site Operations must foster a positive, collaborative, and productive set of working relationships with senior management representing both internal and external stakeholders. Internal management working relationships include the Medical Group ACMOs and practice site Medical Directors, Medical Group Directors, Clinical Department Chairs and Operations Directors, PSHMC IT Management and Staff, PSHMC Patient Experience Department, and PSHMC Nursing Administration. External representative working relationships include multiple services and goods venders.
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required (Master’s degree preferred)
5 years of healthcare experience required
Strong leadership and analytical skills required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Proven track-record of building and leading high functioning work groups that produce successful outcomes is required.
Successful and creative decision-making and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with various constituents across the organization required.
Ability to lead change and articulate a shared vision.
Experience with patient data tools required.
