This position will oversee, through department directors, the ongoing operations of all healthcare programs and services within St. Camillus, with special emphasis on strategic planning, growth, profit, and ensures that operations are being executed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures. Leads the development of operating and capital budgets, which includes achievable revenue, expense and capital spending forecasts. Works closely with departments which may be struggling to improve financial/operational performance to create, implement, and monitor a performance improvement plan, incorporating clear targets and deadlines. Assists in the recruitment and selection of competent department directors, supervisors and other auxiliary personnel as required. Functions as the interim administrator in the absence of these positions until a permanent replacement may be secured.
Qualified candidates will have a Nursing Home Administrator license or eligibility; 7+ years’ experience in increasingly responsible management positions supervising areas related to aging services community operations or a related field; thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations concerning the operations of Life Plan Communities and/or healthcare organizations; energetic, forward-thinking and creative problem solver with high ethical standards & professional image; excellent verbal/written communication skills, including public speaking, group or individual problem-solving and conflict management skills; proficiency in using MS-Office applications; valid WI driver’s license & access to vehicle for local travel; and thorough knowledge of the Roman Catholic faith and approach to healthcare, including end-of-life care.
