RN CLINICAL RESEARCH COORDINATOR:
This professional plays a critical role in conducting research studies under the direction of the clinical Principal Investigator (PI). A valid license to practice in Louisiana with a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is required. Certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), or Society of Clinical Research Associates is preferred. Responsibilities include executing, managing and coordinating daily clinical trial activities in accordance with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
RESEARCH REGULATORY SPECIALIST:
The Research Regulatory Specialist is responsible for insuring timely submission of complete and accurate documents to pharmaceutical sponsors, IRB, and contract research organizations. A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical research is necessary. Advanced computer skills to include Word, Excel and Internet are required. Certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), or Society of Clinical Research Associates is preferred. This individual will perform a wide variety of start-up activities integral to the successful application and acceptance of clinical research protocols.
