The current CEO will be retiring at the end of 2017 following 22 years of service to the community, the past four years in the CEO role. |
Founded by and operating on Quaker principles and values, Pennswood Village opened in 1980 and was the first CCRC to be established in Bucks County, PA. Nestled in a tranquil wooded setting, the community has grown and developed over the years to accommodate changes in the needs of the population, while always retaining the core values of its founding: dignity, respect, diversity, natural beauty, personal growth, spiritual fulfillment, quality, integrity, stewardship, simplicity, peace and community. There are over 100 resident committees, including several that act in advisory capacity to the administration, and an outstanding resident-run library with more than 6,000 titles. Successful candidates for this position will have a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated success in a leadership position within Senior Housing or a related field, as well as a Master’s degree in a relevant area of study. They must possess a high level of emotional intelligence, personal integrity, transparent communication, and a collaborative leadership style.
