Trinity Health Senior Communities (THSC) is seeking a Regional VP Operations (RVPO). THSC operates 48 communities in 10 states with annual revenues of 370M. In collaboration with the COO and the Executive Management Group, The RVPO is responsible for directing, facilitating, and coordinating the development, implementation, and ongoing operational and developmental activities of THSC within the assigned geographic region. The RVPO is directly responsible for high quality clinical outcomes, strong financial and operational performance and a fully engaged workforce that includes high colleague retention and low colleague turnover. The RVPO, in coordination with the VP Sales and Marketing, creates strategic plans for each community driving high occupancy results for SNF's, CCRC's, AL and IL. The RVPO partners with Clinical Ops to ensure Quality Outcomes within our communities. The RVPO provides leadership and direction in promoting a regional approach to healthcare and also is responsive and innovative, flexible yet decisive and highly collaborative in nature.
General responsibilities will include: • Provide leadership in building a team and an organization which will assume responsibility and accountability for achieving both the mission and financial/operational objectives. • Refine and ensure the implementation of a growth-orientated Strategic Plan. • Work collaboratively with community management teams to execute the Strategic Plan. • Provide leadership for the achievement of outstanding operational performance, strong census, fully engaged workforce, quality care and service delivery, and financial performance across the region. • Oversee the continuous improvement of team performance, program and service performance, and senior living best-practices in order to achieve annual performance objectives and meet market demands across the region. • Develop financial and quality management and control programs which continue to increase the financial effectiveness and quality of care delivery.
Candidates will have: • Must possess thorough knowledge of healthcare management principles and techniques as normally obtained through a Bachelor's in Health Administration, Business or a related field, Master's Degree preferred. • Minimum of ten years of management experience in continuing care health care that includes long term care and post-acute care. • Minimum five years' experience in a senior leadership role. • Possess interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment and productivity when working with cross-functional teams, customers and end users. Must be comfortable functioning in a virtual, collaborative shared leadership environment. • Must be action-oriented, have business acumen, manage conflict well, be customer focused, have high decision quality, flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and have organizational agility. Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise independent judgment. • Excellent organizational skills. Ability to perform multiple duties and functions related to daily operations and maintain excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform frequent detailed tasks and provide immediate service with frequent interruptions. Ability to change and be flexible with work priorities.
