We are seeking two neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP) to join our team of nine neonatologists, two neonatal nurse practitioners and a PA to provide care to patients in suburban and intown Atlanta.
Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, located in the Buckhead section of Atlanta, has a 27 bed Level III NICU and averages 3,600 deliveries per year. Though there will be some flexibility in scheduling, we anticipate the nurse practitioner will provide in-house, eight-hour per day shift coverage, with no night call duties. Responsibilities will include attending high-risk deliveries, assessing and rounding on newborns in the NICU and providing well-newborn services. We are seeking 2 NNP's, one who is predominately at Piedmont Fayette Hospital and one who is predominantly at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital; the practice also covers at the Level-III NICU at Piedmont Henry Hospital, providing opportunities to practice at more than one facility.
