Jupiter Medical Center (JMC) is a not-for-profit 327-bed regional medical center consisting of 207 private, acute-care hospital beds and 120 long-term care, sub-acute rehabilitation and hospice beds. Founded in 1979, JMC has approximately 1,700 full-time team members, 615 physicians and 634 volunteers. Jupiter Medical Center continues to perform in the top 10 percent of hospitals for patient quality and satisfaction. JMC earned four stars under the ratings awarded by The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the highest rating of any hospital in Palm Beach or Martin counties. JMC also placed in the top 12 percent of facilities in Florida and in the top tier of hospitals rated across the country.
The Director of Human Resources is a highly visible leadership role, reporting to a dynamic CHRO and working closely with other system leaders, administrators and staff. Managing a team of 10 professionals, the Director will oversee recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, organizational development, learning, employee health, employee recognition and HRIS, along with legal, regulatory and Joint Commission compliance. The Director will play a key support role in ensuring that HR policies, procedures, tactics and methods are communicated and implemented properly and consistently throughout the organization at all stages of the team member life cycle.
