Schedule: Full Time
Performs clerical and communication tasks that support professional nursing and medical care provided to patients and families during all phases of hospitalization. Coordinates and prioritizes multiple patients, physicians and staff needs. Transcribes physician orders per unit protocols and provides other unit clerical functions to facilitate quality of patient care.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Medical terminology and prior computer experience required.
- One year experience preferred.
- Current CO C N A License Required;
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or equivalent
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.
