The Data Quality Specialist II is responsible for ensuring the data integrity, accuracy, consistency, timeliness, and completeness across CHRISTUS source systems, master data solutions and reporting programs. This role will assist in the data quality profiling, analysis, rule development, and testing, perform data reconciliation to identify data anomalies, and escalate data issues needing process re-engineering to team leadership.
The Data Quality Specialist II supports the business goals and objectives for the Data Management Division, the Information Management Organization, and the organization as a whole.
Designs, develops, and analyze the results of complex data queries necessary to identify data quality issues and presents results in an easy-to-understand format to end users
Determine and oversee audit functions to ensure data integrity and quality
Works with business data experts to gather requirements, conduct data profiling, and track metrics necessary to monitor data quality
Help drive data quality efforts across CHRISTUS Health through constant improve efforts
Perform data quantitative and qualitative analysis
Conduct root cause analysis to prevent future data quality issues and implement new standards or processes to prevent future data quality issues, including taking necessary corrective action.
Assist with ongoing data architecture processes and governance
Follows all ITIL processes related to change, incident and problem management.
Utilizes approved standard tools for all data quality efforts.
Interacts professionally and effectively with multiple functional areas in designing and implementing process improvements related to Data Quality activities
