The Community Based Outpatient Clinic in Lawton, OK is seeking a full-time board eligible/board certified Primary Care Physician in Ambulatory Care Service.
Selected physician will work as a member of a disciplinary health care team, collaborating with other members of the team to provide medical care to veterans enrolled on the team. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate advanced competencies and skills in assessing the physical and psychosocial status of the patients and members. Anactive role on the multidisciplinary health care team requires promoting preventive measures, managing the acute and chronic conditions of an assigned panel of patients, as well as patients assigned to other team members, when circumstances requires.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 0800-1700; however you can choose extended clinic hours: and may include occasional Saturday Clinic in lieu of regular tour day to cover extended hours.

- Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- Completed residency training or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
