The Cincinnati VA is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic provider to join our long established and highly affiliated dermatology division. Prior training with experience and expertise in teledermatology and dermatopathology is preferred. The provider will practice comprehensive outpatient and inpatient dermatology including evaluation/consultation, examination, diagnosis, procedures including staffing resident clinics when the other dermatology providers are away from the VA for vacation, academic, and administrative purposes. They will also provide follow-up, medical record documentation/record-keeping, and correspondence and perform other duties as assigned by Chief of Dermatology, Chief of Medicine, or Chief of Staff.The provider will provide appropriate education as needed to patients and family members. Participate in electronic consultations (e-consults) and telemedicine consultations, and work collaboratively with the primary care providers and/or other staff. The Cincinnati VAMC provides comprehensive dermatologic services including phototherapy, patch testing, specialized and general dermatologic surgery, general dermatology, and teledermatology. This position will require a faculty appointment within the Dermatology Department at theUniversity of Cincinnati College of Medicine and will be involved in the education of medical students, residents, and other providers. Interested dermatologists will have ample opportunities for research, teaching, and mentoring - both within our facility, and via our affiliation with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical requirements of this position include occasional lifting, prolonged standing and sitting, frequent bending, walking (distance), climbing, reaching (overhead, extensive/repetitive), repetitive motion, and stooping. The mental/sensory requirements include recall, reasoning, problem-solving, hearing, speaking clearly, writing legibly, reading, and logical thinking. The environments' pace can vary from steady to a sometimes fast pace requiring handling of multiple priorities, frequent, sometimes intense customer interactions, and the ability to adapt to frequent changes in a sometimes noisy environment. There may be an occasional need to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to disease, illness, and hazardous materials.

- Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine.
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
