Providence is calling an on call Eating Disorder Program Assistant to a the Supported Living Program located near Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR.
This program provides short term supported living to up to four individuals who are participating in
our Eating Disorder Day Treatment program 6 days a week for 9 hours a day. The On Call Program Assistants will be
scheduled in the evenings, overnights and during the day on Sundays to help support those who may display anxiety or
behaviors associated with their eating disorder. We are looking for someone to work on call to help provide coverage for
planned time off or short notice requests, if available.
In this position, you will:
- Support the supervised living program by providing direct assistance and structure to the patients enrolled in the enhanced partial hospital eating disorder program.
- Perform all duties in a manner which promotes and reflects Providence Health & Services mission and core values.
Required qualifications for this position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire
- Valid Oregon Food Handlers Certificate or obtained within 30 days of hire
- Valid driver's license
- 1 year of experience in a mental health setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Availability and willingness to work overnights
