Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Environmental Services Technician \(1\.0 FTE, Variable shift\) to work in Environmental Services/Housekeeping at Swedish Mill Creek in Mill Creek, WA\.
This position is a member of a multi\-disciplinary team that maintains the physical environment of the hospital at the highest level of cleanliness, both from an appearance and infection control standpoint\.
In this position you will:
- Interact with visitors, patients and staff
- Light maintenance duties
- Service of equipment
- Clean and place critical use equipment properly
- Insure adequacy of supplies
- Perform floor maintenance for all floor coverings
Required qualifications for this position include:
- High school education or equivalent
- Experience in environmental services in a healthcare or hotel setting
- Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of units of measurement
- One year of customer service experience

Swedish/Mill Creek has 86,000 square feet of space on three above\-ground levels and a partial basement\. The E\.D\. – which is open and staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week – features 18 emergency exam rooms and six additional observation beds\. It shares the first floor with a complete diagnostic imaging center with X\-ray, mammography, ultrasound, CT scan and MRI, which is staffed by partners from Seattle Radiology\. A full laboratory and offices for primary\- and specialty\-care providers are on floors two and three\.
