Providence is calling an Accounts Payable Clerk- Compliance to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to be responsible for accounts payable vendor maintenance. May compose routine correspondence and compile routine reports. Organizes, maintains and distributes files and reports. Handles routine problems according to rules and precedent.
In this position you will:
Work directly with the AP Specialists and Vendor Team to ensure accurate vendor creation and maintenance.
Receive requests from AP Specialists to update or add vendors via an Imaging system.
Review new vendors to verify that all mandatory information is attached to each request including compliance requirements.
Assist AP Compliance team to update vendors for 1099 reporting.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Equivalent of a High School diploma or GED
Minimum of one year of related experience, including Excel experience
Preferred qulifications for this position include:
Use of computerized accounting system (Excel experience)
