Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Vascular Sonographer II \(1\.0 FTE, Day shift \)to work for the Vascular Ultrasound at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Vascular Sonographer II is responsible for performing noninvasive diagnostic vascular studies using ultrasound imaging and non\-imaging physiological instrumentation\.
In this position you will:
Perform intracranial cerebrovascular exams on inpatients and outpatients with complex cerebrovascular pathology
Perform professional level, highly complex diagnostic vascular studies
Make clinical judgments of the patient's condition, based on information obtained from the referring physician, medical records, patient interview, and personal assessments
Prepare preliminary findings based on physiological and anatomical imaging data
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate from an accredited training program for Vascular Ultrasound
Registered with the ARDMS \(American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers\) in Vascular \(RVT\), or within one year of employment
General vascular scanning experience
Experience scanning patients in Neuro Critical Care and Stroke Units
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Diagnostic or Vascular Ultrasound or equivalent experience
