The Participant Deployment Pharmacy Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the new participant during the onboarding deployment period related to medication-related contract activities and agreements, wholesaler management as well as clinical and market share utilization opportunities with The Resource Group, The Resource Group wholesaler, and associated regulatory agencies.
The Participant Deployment Pharmacy Director will ensure that timelines, milestones, and deliverables are on target with the overall onboarding deployment plan with the new participant and ensure that key leadership is identified, appropriately involved and engaged, and regularly updated with respect to all aspects of projects that have implications for medication contracting activities and the medication management process.
Designs drug therapy protocols and works directly with physicians and medical staff departments to meet drug therapy needs.
The Participant Deployment Pharmacy Director will lead the pharmacy onboarding efforts and interface regularly with the pharmacy leadership team as well as the new participant leadership team.
Coordinates and conducts data analysis for clinical, operational and market share opportunities and then develops and implements processes to expedite and improve coordination of medication related activities between The Resource Group Colleagues (e.g. Deployment, Pharmacy, Contract Design, Sourcing, Purchased Services, and Implementation) to ensure a successful deployment of a new participant
Verifies that all contracts are loaded and connected with the wholesaler at the contracted price as well as identifying all classes of trade for each facility and account and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assists in reducing pharmaceutical costs for participants and their affiliates during the onboarding deployment while maintaining high levels of quality, service and safety. Activities include formulary management, best practice utilization management and contract compliance.

Licensed Pharmacist obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Bachelor's Level Degree
Advanced degree preferred
Eight to ten years progressive experience required.
