Position Summary: Assumes administrative responsibility for all hospital services during all shifts and reports critical incidents to the Senior Administrator On Call. Serve as liaison between all customers (internal and external) and Senior Administration. Serves as a clinical resource to all nursing staff in the absence of nursing managers and directors.
Education/Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a current and valid Nevada nuring license, five (5) years of clinical nursing experience, two (2) years of which were in managerial role.
Licensing/Certification Requirements: Valid license from State of Nevada to practice as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications from American Heart Association (AHA).
Two more more years in Critical Care or Emergency Nursing a plus!
Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays and short notice.
Experience with patient flow such as:
Points of entry such as ED, Trauma Resuscitation and PACU.
Critical patient upgrades, Rapid Response Teams, and Code Blue.
