The VP, Clinical Operations is responsible for facility operations, regulatory compliance, and financial management of assigned services lines or departments. Additionally, the Vice-President is responsible for patient care delivery, nursing, and nurse practice throughout the facility. Exhibits level of leadership skills and vision to represent the Hospital in a senior capacity, representing the Administrator during his/her absence. Provides vision and sets direction for quality evidence-based patient-centered care. Encourages innovative leadership at the department level promoting clinical and operationally appropriate span of control, and nurse's decision-making control over nurse practice. Establishes interdisciplinary teams to support nursing care, operations, and patient care services throughout the hospital. Builds collaborative associate-physician relationships to provide safe, effective, and efficient patient care while ensuring associates feel empowered to serve as patient representatives/advocates. Serves as a member of the hospital's Administrative Council, consulting with and advising on issues relating to the operation of the hospital. Provides reporting departments with leadership, decision-making, and direction in patient care services and defined operational areas. Responsible for assessing the environment, forecasting trends, transmitting values, communicating ideas, developing and implementing policies, managing and initiating systems and programs that promote excellence in service and safety for patient care delivery and that create an excellent place to work.

OUR SYMBOL Reflects the healing ministry of Jesus Christ - a combination of a medical cross and a religious cross. The flowing banner on the cross is a common symbol of the risen Christ, while the royal purple signifies Christ. The flowing banner also conveys a sense of motion as we move forward into a new era of service to our communities.
