Providence is calling a Nutrition Services - Retail to Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, WA.
This is a 0.5 FTE (20 hours a week) position with variable shifts. The ideal candidate would be able to work more than the guaranteed 20 hours a week and have availability any day of the week, Sunday - Saturday. Shifts could start as early as 5:30 am or end as late as 9:00 pm.
We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to be responsible for service in all retail areas, including: cashiering, line serving, running the espresso/coffee stand, and stocking.
In this position you will:
Participate, as a team member of cafeteria, gathering and using appropriate supplies and utensils needed for serving. Portion and serve appropriate foods and serving sizes.
Properly handle, package, assemble, and store food items.
Perform cafeteria cashiering duties, which may include weighing food items, calculating charges, receiving payment, and making change for customers.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma, or equivalent
Current Washington Food Handlers Permit
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service capacity
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Food Service experience
