VA full-time urologist position for Ralph H. Johnson Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The urology section at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center is hiring a full-time urologist to work in a busy clinic and operating room which is equipped with a dual-console Davinci Si operating system. The urology section provides complex, comprehensive care to Veterans. The urology section is affiliated with the urology department at the Medical University of South Carolina, and the applicant will have a joint appointment commensurate with experience. The applicant will work closely with multiple urology residents mid-level providers andnursing staff members who work full-time in urology. The successful applicant will have completed a fellowship in urologic oncology and be certified in robotic surgery and will be joining a staff with other urologists with specialty experience in multiple areas.
Work Schedule:Shift may be based on patient scheduling requirements.

Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed.
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
Completion of residency training or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
