Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Nurse Manager for the Swedish Orthopedic Institute OR unit at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the unit or a group of patient care units within Nursing Services\. The manager is responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with Swedish Medical Center's mission, vision, and values\.
In this position you will:
Facilitate group processes and workflow
Develop and prioritize goals and manage objectives
Lead performance improvement projects and problem solve
Collaborate, communicate, negotiate and interact with staff, other managers and leadership
Prepare annual budgets, develop spreadsheets, monitor and analyze financial information and implement operational changes to meet budget targets
Required qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree \(BSN\) from an accredited school of nursing
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
Current BLS/ACLS Certification
At least three years of recent experience in related clinical area of nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities
Recent first line management experience
Knowledge of federal, state, and local requirements and regulations regarding hospitals and patient care
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters degree in nursing or related field
