Swedish Medical Center is looking for an EKG Tech II \(0\.5 FTE, Days\) to work for EKG at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA\.
This position is responsible for performing inpatient and outpatient electrocardiograms, treadmills, holter and event monitors, and other technical studies\. These tests require the ability to identify and assess cardiac rhythm changes\.
In this position you will:
Perform EKG's on inpatient and outpatients
Perform hook\-ups, disconnects and data transfer on all holter and event monitors for all patients
Schedule same day appointments
Perform a number of clerical tasks, including, copying reports, charting, and maintaining and filing of patient records\.
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent experience
Knowledge of arrhythmia recognition and 12\-lead EKG interpretation
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program
Past experience with Holter and event recorders and cardiac stress testing
