Providence is calling a full time, variable shift Clinical Nurse Specialist to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA.
In this position you will:
Serve as a consultant, educator, researcher, and clinical expert for the medical center and service area.
Demonstrate expertise in the care of age‑specific patient population ( e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, pediatrics ) according to clinical specialty, and participates in related continuing education.
Collaborate with other health professionals to design, develop, and evaluate patient educational programs, materials, and related staff protocols.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse License ( RN )
Current Basic Life Support ( BLS ) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program ( NRP )certification
1 year experience in adult education, patient/family education
3 years recent experience in nursing specialty area
Masters of Science of Nursing ( MSN )
Clinical Nurse Specialist ( CNS ) Certification by the California Board of Registered Nursing
1 year Clinical Nurse Specialist experience
5 years Clinical Educator experience
