Description

Director of Project Development for a senior living corporation serving over 2,100 clients and employing over 1,280 co-workers in 2 states (MD & PA) at 5 locations.

The ideal candidate will provide corporate support for project management leadership for all new construction and large capital projects. Facilitates entitlement work, preconstruction planning, budgeting, contract negotiations, construction oversight and regulatory compliance associated with new construction and large capital projects. 

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years construction management and/or real estate development experience.
• Must demonstrate land entitlement experience to fulfill the requirements of the position.
• Strong project management, interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with senior living development processes.
• Strong computer skills with ability to effectively utilize MS Office, project management and video conferencing applications.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from contractors, management, municipalities, investors, and regulatory agencies. 
• Ability to work, understand and communicate closely with architects, engineers and contractors.
