Lutheran Life Communities seeks a strategic, entrepreneurial leader to serve as its next Regional Director of Health and Home Care. Based in Arlington Heights, IL—just northwest of Chicago—the Director will lead the continued growth and expansion of Lutheran Life Communities’ Home and Health Care services, a business line with significant potential and a clear mandate to meet evolving community needs.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Director will oversee a dedicated team of 40 caregivers and spearhead efforts to expand services through census growth and the acquisition of Home Health licensure. Building on a profitable and strategically aligned Home Care operation, the Director will identify and pursue new growth opportunities by cultivating relationships with key referral sources, including short-term rehabilitation centers, private duty agencies, hospitals, specialty practices, nursing homes, assisted living communities, and hospice providers. With healthcare trends favoring earlier discharges and a growing demand for in-home care, the opportunity for expansion is both timely and substantial. The Director will be responsible for developing targeted sales strategies and implementing a multi-channel outreach plan to enhance community awareness and strengthen referral pipelines.

The ideal candidate for the Regional Director role will exhibit proven strategic business and relationship development skills with financial acumen, as well as deep home care and home health operational experience with a passion for quality and efficiency. The successful candidate will be a visible leader who prioritizes growth and census development. Strong mission-orientation coupled with a focus on margin are imperative priorities for the role. An undergraduate degree, a master's degree in business, healthcare or related discipline from an accredited institution, with a minimum of ten years in progressive leadership experience gained in a home care agency or service-line achieving significant, measurable results, are required.
