Burnett Medical Center is looking for a full-time Social Worker to fill our Social Services Manager position.
SHIFT & HOURS:
This is a full-time, on-site position (40 hours/week). Days, Monday through Friday with occasional evening/weekend availability needed.
This is a benefit-eligible position including medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance and short-term disability, along with up to a 3% match in our 401k retirement plan.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the Social Services department. Provide assistance and expertise in areas of patient/resident care, discharge planning, and home planning processes with other facility departments, external organizations, agencies, and health care facilities. Ensure compliance, quality care, and regulatory standards. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BSW or MSW from an accredited school of social work.
- Social Work licensure in Wisconsin.
- Prefer experience in hospital or long-term care facility.
- Must be knowledgeable of community resources and able to network within the community.
- Positive attitude, strong people skills with internal and external customers, strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to adapt to change and to be a team player.
