Description
Manage specific administrative functions related to the operations of the health clinics. Practice Managers will be responsible for the oversight of 20 or more FTE's, manage a multi specialist clinic or multiple clinics. Responsibilities include orienting new hires, monitor staff's time cards, work performance and customer service excellence. Responsible for monthly and yearly budget expenses, purchasing and reports.


Requirements
  • Certification/Licensure
    • Prefer certification or licensed role in healthcare setting, i.e. Certified Office Manager, Certified Coder, Certified Biller, LVN.
  • Education
    • College preferred
  • Experience
    • 3-5 years exp in medical practices.
    • Prior exp in billing, collections and 2 years prior supervisory exp in healthcare setting.
  • Specialized Training
  • Other Skills/Competencies
    • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others. Ability to comply with all Good Shepherd policies and procedures that are job-related and consistent with business necessity. Ability to effectively communicate with patients and provide competent care as appropriate to the ages of patients served by this position.
