Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital is accepting applications for a Mental Health Specialist II – Adults and/or Children and Adolescents . In this role, you will p erform the patient care necessary to implement individual treatment plans under the supervision of the registered nurse. You will participate as an active team member in designated therapeutic groups and community meetings. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the therapeutic environment of the clinical program and participate in continuous improvement and development of assigned clinical program.
This is a 32 hour per week position (full time with benefits on 1 st day of employment). You must work three 8-hour shifts during the week and every other weekend on either 1st shift, (7am-3:00pm), 2 nd shift (3pm-11pm) and/or 3 rd shift (11pm-7 am). Shift differentials apply. Opportunity to pick up additional shifts may be available after orientation is completed. Pay begins at $12.50 for candidates without experience and shift differentials apply for afternoon, midnight and weekend shifts.
