Provides security oversight for all customers, patients, employees and visitors. Protects hospital assets, buildings, equipment and premises, while providing a safe and secure environment. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas). Exercises supervisory authority and independent judgment in directing employee labor. Makes recommendations regarding the ongoing performance evaluation of supervised staff and resulting actions (i.e. reward, discipline, discharge, etc.
High School diploma; valid New Jersey driver's license; one year security or law enforcement experience preferred; and previous supervisor experience preferred. Must be available all shifts.
