Northcrest Community, a private non-profit organization, located in Ames, IA, has a rare full-time opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services with proven CCRC leadership expertise. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional possessing excellent critical thinking and organizational skills as well as strong communication and training and development skills.
The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, evaluate, and direct the overall operation of the Northcrest Clinical Services Department (Health Center, Heartwood House and Home Health Care Program) in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, standards, guidelines, and regulations, to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Requirements include current RN License, minimum of 5 years nursing supervisory experience in Long-Term Care, demonstrated understanding of local, state and federal laws and regulations including IA Chapters 57 and 58, and strong communication skills and ability to collaborate and lead the Clinical Services Team.
Responsibilities include: Administrative and Personnel functions, Budget Planning and Monitoring, Care Plan and Assessment functions, Nursing Care functions, participation in facility surveys made by authorized government agencies, Ongoing Training and Development of Team Members, and Safety functions of Residents and Team Members.
