Mayo Clinic is seeking fellowship-trained Medical Retina Specialists to join our academic and community group practices in Rochester, MN and Eau Claire, WI.
Medical Retina Specialist – Rochester, Minnesota:
The Department of Ophthalmology has a strong medical and surgical retina practice with aligned translational research programs and clinical trials. There are 40 faculty members who cover all subspecialty areas of ophthalmology. Candidates should be board-certified or board-eligible. This position involves clinical care of patients primarily in Rochester. There will be opportunity to participate in resident and fellow training, and candidates should ideally have an academic interest in clinical and/or laboratory research. Minnesota State licensure will be required.
Medical Retina Specialist – Eau Claire, Wisconsin:
Join our established retinal practice with two full-time retinal surgeons. The successful applicant will be a skilled clinician, board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology with fellowship training in vitreoretinal disease. This position will provide outpatient clinic medical retina services in addition to general ophthalmology as it relates to cataract evaluations and surgery. Expect to participate in general ophthalmology call coverage, which is one in five weeks. Limited inpatient care, specifically general ophthalmology patients. Wisconsin State licensure will be required.
