The Surgery Coordinator is responsible for assisting with administrative and clerical aspects of the management of materials, supplies and equipment essential to the department of Surgical Services. The individual must be able to coordinate, organize, and supervise the management of materials to ensure the deliverance of cost effective quality care.
Minimum: High School Graduate or equivalent
Responsible for the organization and efficient management of department capital equipment and inventory used in providing patient surgical services, the management of department employee time records, and the reduction of risk through the development and implementation of equipment and product in-service programs. This position requirements for recruitment include: scheduling experience in a physicianï¿½s office or hospital setting for surgical procedures
Valid Florida driverï¿½s license.
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal relationship skills; 35/40 wpm typing with few errors; statistical typing.
