Were seeking a passionate and driven Per Diem Physician to join our Palliative Care team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Per Diem (0.0 FTE): Inpatient consulting service focusing on goals of care and complex pain management and opportunity to assist in growing outpatient palliative care oncology services.
• Schedule: As needed; minimum of 3-4 shifts per quarter
• Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
• Specialty: Palliative Care
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
• Call Requirements: No call

Requirements

• Palliative Care Fellowship required
• Physicians: Board certified or board eligible (must become certified within 2 years)
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license
• BLS certification (must be maintained)

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
