Richfield Living offers an array of services for residents which include in/outpatient rehabilitation, assisted living, memory care, independent living and long-term care services. Our new campus also provides a convenient, beautiful setting for residents to live and team members to work.
Richfield Living is growing!
Richfield Living completed two tax –exempt bond financings in 2019 and 2020 respectively enabling Richfield Living to significantly transform the 100 year-old original Salem, VA campus and develop a new campus in Roanoke, VA. The 2019 financing supported the Salem, VA campus development adding 140 new independent living units (28 units opened April 2020, 48 units opened Jan 2021 and 64 units opening 2023), a new Town Center (opened Jan 2021), and a new long term care facility designed in the household model of care (76 new units opened in Jan 2021) added to the existing 36 unit rehab center renovated in 2011. The 2020 financing supported building a new 116 bed Health Center on a new campus in Roanoke, VA which has 40 beds for short term rehabilitation with capabilities to treat specialized respiratory acuities and 76 beds supporting long term care and memory care also designed in the household model. The strategic plan approved by the Board in fall 2020 includes continued development of the new Roanoke Campus as well as expansion in other senior aging services.
We are proud to be leaders in the household model of care believing all seniors deserve to be empowered to make choices in their daily living activities and experiences.
